LociNexa handles location data, which can be sensitive. This policy explains the main data categories and safeguards during the MVP and pilot stage.
1. Information We Collect
We may collect Locus names, coordinates, route points, arrival notes, photos, visibility settings, share slugs, account details, session data, and basic usage events such as link views or copy actions.
2. Device Location
If you choose to use browser location, your device provides an approximate position to help place the map pin. You can deny this permission and place the pin manually.
3. How We Use Information
We use data to create and display Loci, open route handoffs, support business dashboards, measure pilot outcomes, prevent abuse, maintain the service, and improve product quality.
4. Sharing and Visibility
Anyone with access to a public or private-link Locus may see the information displayed on that page. Be careful before adding gate codes, private photos, residential details, or other sensitive arrival context.
5. Service Providers
LociNexa may rely on infrastructure, database, hosting, analytics, mapping, storage, or communications providers to operate the product. These providers should only process data for service operation and support.
6. Retention
Loci and related events may be kept while the Locus remains active or while needed for security, debugging, pilot measurement, legal compliance, or product continuity.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and operational safeguards for the MVP stage, but no internet service can guarantee perfect security. Do not store highly sensitive access information unless necessary.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your location, including South African POPIA rights where applicable, you may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of personal information associated with you.
9. Children
LociNexa is not intended for children to publish personal location information without appropriate adult permission.
10. Updates
This policy will be revised before broader public launch, domain activation, or commercial logistics integrations.
